Water question

Hi, I know there's the global water but I thought there was another setting that could allow the water to be "local" (not global). How can I do a pool for example with this? I've seen levels where I don't see the water in the front of materials (or at least I think). The water looks like it's contained. Is this actually possible or am I just confused? well if you make a long plateau with the 3d layer glitch with an empty pool in the middle you could make the water go up when your almost near that pool and go down after you left that section it would make the suggestion water was contained i love the water tool but not so much as i thought i would when it just came out ,i thought it could: flow freely like on a waterslide , or a closed room filled with water and suddenly open up a door on the bottom and everything would flow out, too bad it's not like that cause if it were you could even make convincing rain that would puddle | 2011-06-22 10:51:00 Author: Unknown User |
thanks. I've seen the 3D glitch but haven't done it. Need to look into it. And yes, that's exactly how I feel about the water. I thought it would be like a material or something ... kind of like the gas. It's a shame cause a lot of things could be done with something like that. Water in LBP2 is still the same, but hey, you can use the walkthrough glitch on glass. It will kinda look like water but sackboy will fall. You can pretend to make material-water in lpb2 by making sackbots swim when inside a certain zone. but bots cant go in true water | 2011-06-26 04:32:00 Author: Unknown User |
