multiple controlinators help

I am working on a fighting level called everything vs. everything. In this level i will have many sackbots but my problem is that when you enter one sackbot you control another at the same time. I know I can fix this by changing the color frequency but there are only 9 colors and I have alot more sackbots is there another way to change the frequency. thanks for your help2011-06-21 22:20:00

You could make your own frequencies by using tags and tag sensors. Just attach the 'transmitting' DCS to tags, and replace the receiver with tag sensors.2011-06-21 22:35:00

Simpler solution might be to use the same color receiver on all sackbots, and just disable the ones you don't want to receive. IIRC you can disable a receiver by feeding a signal into the bottom of the controlinator, otherwise put it on a chip, and disable the chip.

For the disabling system, perhaps connect a differently labelled tag sensor to each receiver, and put a selector on the transmitter which enables one tag at a time.

H there. All are good responses to your problem. You can have hundreds of tag/sensor combinations- Instead of using the colours, use the tag label option instead. So if, for example, you wanted 50 different tags on 50 different sackbots. All you do is enter a new tag label and have a coresponding tag sensor detect the given label- so, instead of a blue tag sensor detecting a blue tag, you can label the tag '40', and have a tag sensor detect tag label 40, etc.
The only thing is that if you can use any labels you wish, but the colour must match (so that if you want say tag labels '1,2,3,4...40', they would need to sence the colour part as well- so it would be green+1, green+2, green+3, green+4... green+40)
