Direction Changer
Archive: 9 posts
Thanks for opening this post! My suggestion is having a peice of logic called the "Direction Changer". Basically what it does is the same thing when you connect a Direction Splitter and a Direction Combiner, but hook positive to Negative and Negative to Positive. Simplified: If hook up to, say, a Analog, when you push Up it goes Down, and when you puch Left it goes Right. I've had this problem when the controllinator's outputs gets inverted and it's just kind of annoying getting two gates out when you only need to get one. Tell me what you think! | 2011-06-21 18:41:00 Author: hershysnickers5 ![]() Posts: 50 |
In other words, a Reverse Gate? That sounds like it could be useful, but when you want to reverse the direction a Mover or Rotator sends the object you can simply rotate or reverse the Mover or Rotator itself. But what would you want to reverse controls for? | 2011-06-21 21:09:00 Author: Brandon ![]() Posts: 106 |
For example, I have a Tank, and when I hit up on the controller, it aims down. The controlls are inverted, I just think it would be easier to have one peice of logic instead of two. | 2011-06-22 00:06:00 Author: hershysnickers5 ![]() Posts: 50 |
split directionswith directional splitter and recombine it with directional combiner. Imo it's to small thing to make it native | 2011-06-22 20:36:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
Yes, and you can make it a chip and name it direction changer with dedicated input and output if you are that lazy ![]() | 2011-06-23 13:13:00 Author: hesido ![]() Posts: 166 |
-_- No need to be rude, it's just a suggestion... | 2011-06-23 14:09:00 Author: hershysnickers5 ![]() Posts: 50 |
