Summary
For those of you who don't know what TF2 is, it's a PC game (ignore the console versions in the orange box, they don't get updated) that is class based, with objective-based gameplay. It's got a cartoon-like art style and it a huge amount of fun! Every few months the game gets updated with new weapons and maps for free. They also release videos introducing the team called 'Meet The [class name]', which are of very high quality.

There are 9 classes in total: Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper and Spy.

We don't want to ruin it, but we'll give you four clues to get you guessing:

1.) It IS a "Meet the" short.
2.) It involves ONE of the two remaining classes.
3.) It's NOT the Pyro.

lols easily At least try out the free week to see. Source games tend to be more CPU reliant. This is a going on 4 year old game, so most should be able to run it.2011-06-21 20:02:00

@Whaaaale I run Sc2 on high (It recommends Ultra but then it lags if I get 4 200/200 armies going at the end of a 2v2 so I drop it down to be safe...) and I run TF2 locked at 60FPS (because V-sync is clearly epic.) So you should be fine...		2011-06-21 23:50:00

Also Whale, you aren't trying to play vs Bots are you? Because I hear you can't run it... YOur PC should run it easily if it is running SC2 fine... My PC was annihilated by TF2 with 24 bots on, but online it's perfect, so try that if you weren't playing online before

It was working fine for me yesterday but for some reason TF2 keeps freezing and crashing today. I can't complete a game without it freezing on me. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

Thats one of the many problems I've been experiencing, but I found this (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5539-MJWZ-7760)page, and its been working a bit better. (Everynow and then it wont get a response from the server.)

And to become premium all you need to do is buy anything on the store, cheapest being like 49p. BUT, you can add a minimum of ?4/$5 to your wallet at one time.

I leave it until something pops up, saying Failed to connect after 4 retries. And seems I'm not the only one.

Okay, So I just crafted a Scottsman's Skullcrusher and used it in Medival mode.... I almost died laughing!
THeres nothing funnier then seeing 3 heavys wearing viking hats scream "RUN,COWARDS!" While flying demoman swoop down and take you out quicker than you can say Medic.

Do you know if my Portal 2 PS3 redeem code unlocks my account?
And also am I going to have issues trying to play TF2 online with people I want?

There's no restrictions about playing online, but you can't initiate chats with other players.

However, you are allowed to enter chats by other players and you are allowed to accept friend requests.

So I decided to try out the Splendid Screen and found a nice opportunity with a distracted Sniper. Then I found out it was Spence, and it just made that moment sweeter.

So I don't get it. My brother can play this game fine on his computer but I can't play online at all. I can play with bots, just when I go online I get all laggy. But my brother can play fine. And we have almost the same computer.2011-06-30 06:38:00

So after falling in love with the huntsman in the medieval gamemode, I bought a name tag and named mine: "Cthulhu's Spine" :3 and I gave it a kewl description; "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." Which actually means something! Now people will notice my weapon when they get killed by it.

Also, I got a new suppy crate called the "Summer Cooler" or something. Apparently normal keys won't work on it and I'll have to wait for something special to unlock it. :O		2011-06-30 07:15:00

So after falling in love with the huntsman in the medieval gamemode, I bought a name tag and named mine: "Cthulhu's Spine" :3 and I gave it a kewl description; "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." Which actually means something! Now people will notice my weapon when they get killed by it.

Also, I got a new suppy crate called the "Summer Cooler" or something. Apparently normal keys won't work on it and I'll have to wait for something special to unlock it. :O

TF2 has had this type of event before, it was a Christmas version last time. And they started selling keys (at a price) two weeks before the expiration date. Then five days later, gave a free key to all players.

Scout is actually a pretty tricky class at it takes the most skill with a mouse. So fun though, just try ambush your enemies. 2 good shots takes down most classes2011-07-20 16:38:00

I used the Spam Mangler 5000 constantly since release. But I think Im going back to the Liberty Launcher. The rockets are just so slow with the Cow Mangler, it makes it a bit more difficult to aim.		2011-07-23 22:45:00

Huh? It has less power than the rocket launcher (90% of the vanilla launcher, not 90 addition %) so direct hits are weaker than that of the normal. I agree it can be more powerful than the standard because of the extra shot, but a good soldier would be more accurate and not need the extra rocket.

Base damage against player is 81 (vanilla launcher is 90), which isn't enough to one hit any class. If we talk about the charged shot, that's fine because it leaves you like a sitting duck and then after an empty clip. Its also easy to dodge. Using 5 rockets in one go for a minicrit and putting them on fire isnt worth it.

Base damage against buildings is 16, rofl. Vanilla is still 90.		2011-07-25 12:46:00

Weapons:
Pyro - Getting a leafblower and Scyhthe
Soldier - Getting a Rocket launcher made out of trash. Same for his new shotgun, melee weapon, and new hat.
Heavy - Chainsaw and a logger hat. Chainsaw uses same animations as miniguns. No idea on stats.
Demoman - Pirate pack. Possibly with cannonball GL
Engineer - MAY be getting new buildings

Hats:
Heavy and Sniper may be getting Rambo hair with bandanas

However, this could be possible. I don't doubt /v/ too much on these things, especially on games they look forward to. As you've seen yourself, they've managed to grab the passwords for the BF3 beta. Considering the fact that /v/ is in love with Team Fortress 2 and there's a big update coming soon (which /v/ is betting that it is based on the anniversary of the Mann Co update), I'd say they could have managed to get a hold of this information somehow.
