How do you move objects around, in a square, for example?

Seeing as this was posted 2 weeks ago, you've probably figured it out by now. If you haven't... Hit x to select an object to move it. If you are doing so, the reason it is not moving is because it is glued to something. In that case, press x to select it, then press triangle to detach it, then move it.
