Sackbot Attacks

So as the name suggests im a bit stuck with attacks, ive tryed the animations to make him attack with no luck. I dont want holographic attack or a slap, I do want a Sackbot animatiion but how can I make it look good?2011-06-19 08:03:00

Assuming you aren't controlling the sackbot, you could add a tag sensor to the sackbot that will check for enemies. If the enemies are sackbots, you could make the good sackbot emit an electric fist at a fast speed with a very short life time to where it looks like the good sackbot punched the enemy sackbots. If the enemies aren't sackbots, you could put a tag on the fist and put an impact sensor on the enemy object. The impact sensor should check for tag so that it knows when it's being attacked by the fist. You could then make the impact sensor be attached to a destroyer or a counter that's attached to a destroyer to defeat the enemy.

Edit: It should be pretty simple if you are controlling the sackbot. Just kind of switch the enemy sensor using a tag sensor into like R1 causing the emitter to emit the punch.

hmm I guess it depends on the attacks your trying to do. I have a super suit that emits energy blasts kinda like dragon ball z. Then I made an enemy who can emit elaborate animated attacks such as an energy wave. The enemy can also turn into a fire dragon and return to normal. Its hard to really go into detail if you add me on psn i'll be glad to help you further.2011-06-19 20:17:00
