Prober health system in a topdown level?

Hey guys!

Im still working on my Dead Nation level (You, your friends, against hordes of zombies. (Dont worry, its not like those overused Call of Duty Zombie levels).

The thing is, i have diffrent weapons, but they both do the same amount of damage. Which is not supposed to be there.
Here is how my logic works:

I have the zombies, they have Blue tag-sensors on them, which are linked to a counter. When the counter reaches his limit, the zombie gets destroyed by a destroyer.

On the bullet, i have a blue Tag, so when it makes contact with the sensor, the Blue Tag Sensor adds 1 count to the Counter.
Problem is, i have multiple weapons (Shotgun, Rifle, Machinegun). but they both do the same damage. But i want the shotgun and rifle to do more damage then the machinegun. Is this possible? Thanks alot!

You could use a different color tag, and have the tag sensor on the zombie hit the counter multiple times. Try this; red tag (for the purpose of this explanation) on the different "bullet". Red tag sensor on the zombie; connect the sensor to a sequencer. 3 batteries on the sequencer, all feed into a 3way "or" gate. Thus, when hit by the "red" bullet, the or gate will output 3 times (for the purpose of this explanation, the red weapon does 3x the damage). Now, attach an or gate to the hit counter on the zombie, 1 input for each weapon. output the red weapon or gate to the new "or" gate. Don't forget to wire the blue sensor to the hit counter or gate as well. Now you can use different tags for different amounts of damage. I don't have a chance to try it out right now; there may even be an easier way of doing it.2011-06-18 21:02:00

You may also want to instead make each hit count 'down' on the counter, and when it reaches zero, you trigger death. This means you can use it as a health bar. Sense 0 value by using sequencer with battery covering entire thing. Connect battery to NOT gate. NOT gate to trigger.2011-06-18 22:22:00
