Ok, Whenever i get on my laptop, it says " windows explorer has stopped working, checking for a solution" and than everything disapears from the screen except the mouse and desktop. When i try to shut it down, it asks permission to terminate a file, and im not sure whats happening, im pretty sure the things i downloaded werent virus's, I downloaded a cavestory mod called WTF story, and a Organya creator. I Need help!

It may be the virus effecting it, if you can come on here to post this, than can you still download things? If so, try to search for free virus program, download it, then let it search for a virus, and it'll probably take care of it. If that doesn't work, then let me know what it does, than I'll give you more advice lol Hope it works.

But if you're dealing with a virus, the best solution is to google keywords that would describe what your experiencing because you're probably not the only one. Are you able to perform a scan with an antivirus program?

Are you sure it's infected? Windows Explorer could have just crashed which happens from time to time.

Yep Explorer does do that from time to time as said. You might want to go ahead and do the works if you don't already. Virus scan, disc cleanup, defrag. Its good to have the best virus program you can get these days. Everyone and their dog seems to be getting involved or indirectly supportive of that sorta rubbish. And almost any site can unexpectedly be infected with spyware. Also since Laptops tend to mostly vent from the bottom leaving it on a softer surface will block it and make it heat up more. The life of a Windows user doesn't seem to be meant to be easy. I have installed Windows like three times this year due to non virus glitches and such. Adorable topic title by the way.

I cant do anything on it. After explorer crashed, it crashes again, and again, and again, and again. And im on my other computer.

Do you have a recovery disc? If not you will probably have to spend money to have it fixed if its not still under warranty. But I warn you that most people just erase everything and start over in those kind of situations. Even if there is a way to fix it without losing everything. I'm not an expert or anything so maybe this bump will give time for someone smarter to notice.
