So, yeah. we had one for the past two years so I figured I might as well fill in the gap this year. As I'm sure many younger people are well aware, school is ending around now and summer is beginning. This is a big year for me in particular since I am now going to be graduating High School (Graduation is in about three hours D so... yeah. Soon I'll be legally an adult. OH SNAP I'll be going to college next year (or rather, in two months O-o) for game design... Hope that works out :/ ... Anywho. Those are my plans. Now then, for you... {x|x<AgeOfRockSauron) = How you younger folks going to spend yo summer? {x|x=AgeOfRockSauron) = What re your plans for next year? {x|x>AgeOfRockSauron) = Ohai Older peoples, how much longer till I lose whatever optimism and energy I have left?

I'm finished Junior High on may 24 and planning on spending my summer practicing guitar and relaxing also good luck out there in college but end of school year are always sad on the last day when your going to another school next year...

I'm in the same postion as you, Rock. I'm off to University in September. During the summer in-between, i'm going to the island of Kos with my family and also Amsterdam with my friend. Other than that, i'm sitting in my room making bleepy bloopy noises with my computer. My town is boring and the weather is (usually) bad. Good luck in games design, man! I looked at a similar course, but it was a bit too tech savvy for me & I wanted something a little more creative orientated, so I chose a media production course. Maybe it will lead me into the games industry one day...I just can't handle programming.

Programming isn't the only option in Video Game Development, you might be more suited to the Design or Art aspects to the industry.

Programming isn't the only option in Video Game Development, you might be more suited to the Design or Art aspects to the industry. Just to name a few.. Game art design, game design, game development / game developer, game modification, game produce, game programming / game programmer, game publisher, game studies, game testing, game journalism, and level design, the only one without the word game in there somewhere. Now I've finished my exams for this year (Year 10), the pressure should be off a bit, and it turns out it's only 4 or so, one of which is a special week our school does every year which is great fun, so it's better than it sounds.
