Many things that MM should add. (Updated Aug 28 Almost 10pm))

LBP2 is an awesome game, but there's many things I want in it. Note, a lot of these are power-ups.

Power-ups:
~Ballooninator: A balloon strapped to sackboy that can make him float through gaps by holding X, can also make sackboy be pushed by the air of fans (see emitters)

~Drillinator: A drill that sackboy can use to dig through grab-able material.

~Protectinator: A protective suit that can protect sackboy from any leathel material that via changing properties of it, (Red is fire which is made of stone, Blue is Electricity which is made of rubber, Green is plasma which is made of non-leathel plasma, Brown is gas which has a helmet and an oxygen mask, Black is bombs which is made of stone, and Grey is Spikes, which is made of a non-pierce-able metal)

~Combatinator: A sword (which can be tweaked to be anything you want) that has sackboy slicing his enemies in sight (see slice sensor)

~Boomerang: Does basicly what a boomerang does

~Sizeinator: press L2 to go smaller, and R2 to grow bigger

~Skateboard: Everyone wants that "inator" that makes sackboy faster, but why just plain old shoes? That's right! The skateboard will do all that! Also, see gameplay items for "ramps".

Emitters:
~Fan: Emits wind


Gameplay Objects:
~Teleporters: Place a color from the 6 basic tag colors (or 8, can't remember) on two teleporters, and watch sackboy go through 'em!

~Ramps: Special for the skatboard, lets it fly through the air, and let it be able to do tricks


Sensors:
~Slice Sensor: Basicly a sensor that senses when it is hit by the Combatinator

~Costume Sensor: A sensor that senses when the person is wearing the right costume (no dlcs allowed)

~Explosion Sensor: A sensor that senses an explosion


Music:
~Jungle Boogie


Materials:
~Water Material: Basicly the properties of water stuffed into a material


Water:
~Leathel Water: Ogod, i had this idea for a while, lemme put it in this way: set it to "lava" or "coffee" will have water act like its leathelized with fire, put it as "swampy" or "quicksand" will force your sackboy to jump 'til its death, selecting "toaster in the water" will treat it as electrified, and so on.

~Ice: another Idea i had, its still the same water, but frozen

Global Tweakers:
~3D/2D Tweaker: Switches gameplay from 2D to 3D or vise-versa

Popit/Costumes:
~Pets: little animals that follow sackboys around

~Popit Design: Instead of having your popit a color, maybe have it in a shape of an object

~Animations: We have them for sackbots, why not sackboy?

~More hat options: We NEED a fedora! (sorry if there's already a fedora, I might've skipped it)

Pod:
~Bigger Pod: nuff said

~Furniture: stuff you can interact with in the pod, like a chair that if you press triangle, your sackboy sits on it, can also work on levels too

~Sackbots: It won't hurt if we get sackbots in the pod, so why not?

~Items: All of them except for creatinator, that won't hurt either

~Materials: Still won't hurt

~FIX ANDY'S HOUSE!

More will be edited on later when I think of more

I like your "inator" ideas. With the skateboard idea, play my level Wooden Waves Skatepark as it has a real custom made skateboard that Ollie's perfectly. It would be cool for some of your ideas to go into the game.

Though some of your ideas (like the digger and wind generator, I like it) are good, most are very specific, detailed and lack a general purpose. A protective suit can only be a protective suit and nothing more. Great for people who want to make a level in one night - and you would see a couple of thousands of them before its popularity is lost. The option to make a sackbot indesctructable would be enough (and this is a real, practical problem that you see creeping up every 30 or so posts if you follow the Help forum).

A sword is just a sword. There already is a sword, the dagger, in your popit objects. What purpose would slicing an enemy have apart from slicing an enemy? You can't do much else with it and just as the protectinator you would see a million Slice Justin Bieber levels and that'd be the end of the creative train (because you can't do anything creative with it). What you'd need is more death animations (how gruesome that sounds...).

You can take apart said dagger and keep the invisible lethal bit, shrink it and emit that on a player on impact with whatever projectile you throw at him (a tiny spike on holo would be ok already). *thsjing*!! Sackboy dies in a way that fits the lethal threat.

Ice material is already there: glass. You can already make water lethal by sticking a gassified object in it. If you are after lava, set 0% brightness holo on fire and submerge it (it won't douse the flames like with normal materials).

My point is: be creative with the tools you are given and when you positively cannot do something with those tools, then come up with a tool that would fix that problem (and many other problems, preferrably).

I wasn't thinking of a material (I already knew about glass). I was think of FREEZING water. But everything else you typed does have a point.

We need a sticker sensor to sense if someone has a certain item in his community stickers.

Instead of a Skateboard, how about a Hoverboard? Capable of crossing land and water. Also, add Trick Sensors for detecting when Sackboy pulls off tricks. Connect them to Score Givers, and you have a simple trick scoring challenge! I'd still like to see Dashinators in addition to a Hoverboard, though.

In addition, how about Boost Pads and Rings? These can be used whether Sackboy is using speed power-ups or not. When you step on a Boost Pad or move through a Boost Ring, Sackboy is given a speed boost in the direction the pad or ring is pointing. More precisely, the direction an arrow on the pad or ring is pointing. The strength and direction can be tweaked.

The problem is, all of these things other than the quicksand and the combinator can be done already. And it isn't even a matter of complex logic in most cases. I mean, I had to make an explosion sensor for my Mythicos game, and a LOT of other custom chips like that.2011-06-23 14:22:00

As far as I'm informed, hoverboards does not work on water (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fROq-ZxtvnU)...

we could make bounce pads before LBP2 too. But MM gave us a cool bounce pad to use anyways~

There's a reason the official power-up most closely resembling a weapon is something as harmless as a paint gun.

An invisible material. Something with the same properties of Dark Matter, but invisible in Play mode (and Create's preview mode). No more trouble creating borders and invisible walls. Currently we have to use glitches or paper-thin glass walls.2011-08-29 20:55:00

I always thought that a sword powerup would be very cool. Err.. a handleinator.. Basicly just a handle that could have materials and decos on it that could be controlled with the right stick.. A sackbot or sackperson with a "held" weapon follower just looks weird because they arent physically holding and swinging it. Above all though.. Yes, please make invincible sackbots. That was one of my biggest letdowns of LBP2. I mean, how hard would that be for them to make, really? Also love the quicksand, wind and weather suggestions.

Oh and I know it has been said a few times but a magic mouth with selectable options like a menu that would have outputs would be so nice. I know you can make menus with holos and set those selectable outputs but it would just be great to have those mouths instead of making tons of text with materials and having to use a controlinator to wire it all up.

I was thinking it might dig through grab-able material, and you can sketch it if you want.

As for the fan, maybe there can be a tweaker on what the wind can push? Like "very slightly" for just the ballooninator to "Tornado Power" for pushing anything that isn't glued to the ground

Sorry, but I dont like most of them. The drillinator would be cool though, LBP2 needs more things like how bombs destroy only a PART of the material. I also thought about a wind machine, but I think it should be like a bouncepad, which has range and strength. I think an option to change the color of magic mouth text would be nice. And make it so in a sequencer with a magic mouth, you can adjust if you want the text at the top of the screen or the side, etc.2011-09-02 21:45:00

The feature to change a sackbot's costume with a toggle would be nice.

Also, maybe the ability to pace tags directly onto a sackbot, like make a flashlight follow his hand to give the illusion that he is holding it.

The ability to rotate objects in the x and y axes.

Transparent material, so when a picture is taken, anywhere that shows the material is made transparent, it'd be cooler if it were a greenscreen material.

Look, just think about it. MM could do just the fluff coming out of Sackboy when he's sliced instead. Do you really think MM would actually make LBP2 all that gory?

Or better yet, just make the death animation the same one when he gets crushed/spiked


A weather tweaker. Nuff' said. You can make it rain, snow, hail, etc. Do you know how much lag that would cause? I was playing a level with thunder once, and it lagged a lot.

Yeah but that wasn't from a weathering tool was it. If it was then lag wouldn't be an issue. And where are the 'Global Tweakers' when you need them!

And because sharp weapons are dangerous and encourage kids to want to go on a killing spree, they could just design the weapon to look like a Lightsaber or a Stun Club that you can place stickers and whatnot on it.
