For those who followed the Bob the Boss thread, started by Archideas, this level is the result. For those not familiar with it, it can be read here...

This level features alot of grappling hook action, with other puzzles and traps, a mini-boss, and a boss fight at the end!

I'm currently trying to beat this level and it's hard as all hotspots. As of right now, I'm stuck trying to figure out how to get past the giant sackbot guardian. I don't see any way to beat him. O_o

*EDIT*

Oh, so that's how you beat him. That took me way too long to figure out. xP

*EDIT 2*

I left a review on your level, but I'll post it here as well for anyone to see.

"The platforming sections are very hard, so this level is not for the faint hearted. It lacked in the visual department but the final boss was very nice. Too bad I didn't manage to unlock any prizes since I died so much."

And by saying the platforming sections are very hard, I mean REALLY hard. I died on the first part over 20 times alone.

The mid-boss had no clear way of showing he was being damaged so it took me a really long time to figure out how to kill him. But it might just be me who's stupid.

My highscore only reached as far as to 2,297. So I didn't manage to unlock anything, unfortunately. I'd give this level in itself a 3/5.

The platforming difficulty and the bland landscape drags my score down, but otherwise a nice challenge to anyone who's up for it.

I also noted you made some changes to the Bob I described, which probably turned out for the better. But he did move around a little too fast, making it impossible to dodge him when he got really fast bouncing around.

I hope I didn't set the bar too high for the prizes...and I suppose I should have added some kind of indication as to what scores were needed; I'll post them here. 5000pts for the first one, 10,000 for the second, 20,000 for the big prize. It definitely is possible. And Archideas, if we can both get online at the same time, I can take you on a behind the scenes tour of the level if you like. Not sure if my internet connection will allow it, but I can try.2011-06-16 01:54:00

Some of the ridiculously hard obstacles are fun because of how ridiculous they are. One of them however, was just downright tedious, and I no longer have the patience for them after completing the hard and fast paced obstacles. This led to me just wanting to quit and move on. Them camera angle in the room withe circles you grab onto and the squares that kill you, also hindered gameplay. The camera should be angled downwards so the player can see what's coming next, instead of blindly falling into oblivion. Which brings me to my main gripe. IT'S WAY TOO DARK!!! I can't see anything without squinting really hard for a while. Bob the boss looked rather promising... But he broke. Which basically sums up the entire level. Promising, but broken... Like everything at the swap meet...2011-06-16 23:08:00

Bob was very hard to troubleshoot, as you can see from the logic involved. I thought I had all the bugs worked out.

As far as the level being dark, I made it a little dark to reflect being inside a tomb; I can see just fine on my tv, but maybe I have the brightness turned up higher.
