Tron:Little Big Legacy- The movie

Archive: 8 posts

My attempt at making Tron:Legacy on LBP2. However, just making a direct port of the movie would be boring, so I've added a dash of LBP lore for a unique story. I think I've captured the look of the Tron world pretty close, and there's even tracks from Daft Punk to add that little extra touch programmed by MFC50. If you like Tron, or want to see a cool take on LBP's universe, give it a look, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry for the double post, but here's a picture!

This is only a hint of how the level looks, the actual movie is in motion and alot cooler and 50% more neon, lol.

Awesome! It's exactly like the movie except with an LBP twist.

VISUALS:
The design is very cool. It really does feel like "Tron" thanks to the neon materials and the DLC costumes.

SOUND:
Great use of "Avalonia" and "The Cosmos" interactive musics. Also, great custom musics that matched the movie ones, especially "Derazzed".

OVERALL:
A very fun to watch movie. A yay, a heart, and a positive review.

Saw this on cool pages and played it earlier.

I liked how you made it about LBP, rather than just cyberspace, the grid, and the what not. I my personal opinion, it was more far more interesting and less ridiculous than the actual movie's plot. The shadow print material was really dark enough in some areas, and did not fit in very well with the rest of the high-contrast black and neon world. The disc throwing scene was executed well enough, though it could have used some more explosions, and people getting obliterated. The scene where Sam (or whatever the younger one's name is) is teleported into LBP looked really good. Older Flynn however, looked a little odd being all one color, though that must have been hard to avoid with the way the costume is.

All in all, your rendition of the movie was very enjoyable, and probably better than the original. Sorry if my review has a lack of structure, my mind has been a little lazy today.

Thanks Justin, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll get you some feedback soon.

Thanks RagTag, it's good to know some of you got and enjoyed the LBP aspect of this movie. Although there's quite a bit of possitive comments, I've gotten more negative comments from people saying it's not like Tron,I screwed it up, it doesn't follow the movie, etc, etc.
I'm like you, why would you want to watch the same exact movie and story, but on LBp. I thought changing the story to fit the LBP world would be clever, but apparently not to some, lol. Oh well, at least I tried something different...
PS, was there a level you wanted me to try? You didn't specify

Right, I forgot this was F4F. My level A Nucleotrosity is what I'd like you to review, but feel free to review any of them if you don't feel like playing that one. Just press the big pink "IT" in my signature.
