Well, 45% into my new level, and I go to play mode. Freezes the loading screen. I can still go to edit mode, but play mode is an issue. Not to mention my joystick is starting to misbehave again

This is what I need help on.. Go online and download my level: Wooden Isles. Tell me if it gets stuck in the loading process, if it does, I'll just go back to the 30% done backed up version. If not, I'll keep creating in the one I can't load for play mode.

Hey buddy!!

Yeah, it freezes on me. I guess you need to go back to the 30%. I am sorry you lost a part, but I am glad you still have a workable copy that you can go back to.

BTW, the description sounds awesome, I can't wait to play this.

What's the problem with your joystick? Mine actually broke on me a couple weeks ago, and I had to buy a new psp. It been sticking on me alot before it broke.

My joystick sometimes thinks it's in the down position when i'm not touching it. Sometimes I can't even get it to go up at all. As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating in create mode. I could still play most levels with it.

Less than a week ago it completely stopped being pushy and worked perfectly, but now it's starting to jerk down again :/

I'm curious, how many backups of the level do you keep? I always have 3 or 4 backups at all times.2011-06-14 00:25:00

Hey Val, check out youtube, they have some videos of ways to fix a pesky psp analog stick.

They didn't really help my situation, (because I don't have the steady hands of a surgeon ), but maybe they will be of help to you.

Thanks for the tip VJ, I looked into some of those videos.

Most explain how to disassemble the PSP and put in a new joystick, but I'm horrible with tools, so I'd probably end up breaking other things. Another one just said to blow under the joystick, which I'll probably do if it gets really bad again.

Valmassoi, the exact same thing happened to my brother's PSP joystick. With a bit of surgery we were able to clean the space behind it, which improved it a little. Then we managed to find a replacement, which pretty much fixed it. Its still a bit iffy, but I would recommend trying to find install another joystick. D:2011-06-14 20:43:00

I haven't yet replied to this thread. Mainly because I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. You have my sympathies, Val.2011-06-17 16:45:00
