Disabling Six-Axis

I have a level where a Sackbot holds/points a gun, but I don't know how to make it so that he doesn't look around. The gun points fine when the Sackbot's head is looking straight ahead at the player, not looking around, but when he looks to the left the gun points all the way to the background. I tried doing the "selective control" with 3 controllinators, but it still doesn't work. Help and I won't assassinate you today! =D2011-06-13 16:05:00

You could place a red sensor on the gun object with a huge radius that will encompass the sackbot, then in his tweaks on the base chip, set him to 'look at the red tag'.
This way he will be always looking at the red tag. I think you will need to set his 'looks around' part to no, so he's not just randomly looking at players or that.

The gun isn't an object, it is a TV remote costume item with a bunch of decorations. I will have the sackbot shooting and stuff, but I wanted the a gun for that stuff too. Sooooo yeah. I dunno how that would work then... sorry, but thanks regardless. c=>2011-06-13 19:29:00

why not have an invisble holographic arrow with a follower in the centre so that it matches the sackbot/players movements, If you only want him facing directly right, make the holographic arrow arrow longer to the right and put the red tag on the end of it.
So now he is still looking at the tag thats on the holographic arrow end to the right. A this invisible arrow moves with him, so he keeps looking to the right, at the tag

I'm not sure I understand your question.

So, let's assume you're aiming using the right stick. Wire the right stick's input into the the R2 button on the controllinator. This way, when you move the right stick, it will also aim his right hand. Now, wire the right stick into the Motion Sensor input (white circle) in the center of the controllinator. This way, his head will move to the way you are holding the right stick.

I believe that will actually work Sean! I'll give it a try tommorow... or today, considering it's 1:25 am! XD But thanks a bunch, I dunno why I didn't think of that... it looks fine when he looks to the right. =D
Sorry nunsmasher, I didn't want my sackbot to look the direction he was shooting, it looked wierd... and also the gun is on his left hand (therefore movements stops when I aim with the right stick, but I did have the Right stick connected to both the Left Stick and L2... regardless though), but thanks for your help anyways. c=

or you could just place a 100% battery in the Sixaxis left input, this permanently makes him look to the right (:2011-06-14 07:36:00

I did try something like that, but I accidentally did it to BOTH Six-Axis ports... haha... but yeah, that COULD work. But with the other method you could make him permanantly look in ANY direction, not just right (I'm gonna try multiple directions and see what will work).
