>(LBPC1) The Competition Overlord.< well howdy folks, I am finally done with my first project this month. This is my entry for the Little big planet central "No floor" contest. http://img863.imageshack.us/img863/701/aphoto6.jpg * >>The Story: is that in every Contest or competition there is known as a "Competition Overlord" a monstrous being that oversees contests to make sure everyone is following the rules. But when the newest Overlord, Takes away sackboys creating tools (Controllinator,Jetpack,) and his ability to fully touch the ground. With your lack of imagination and creativity due to your loss of creating tools, The Overlord will take over LBP. http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/1305/aphoto7.jpg * >>Gameplay: Well to me the gameplay is a bit dull, mainly due to the fact that its "no floor" and an extremly limited contest. You basically use bounce pads all the way through. Also useing Creatornators to spawn bounce pads as you fly through a Bounce Pad factory that the overlord is hideing out in. It tends to get a quite bit challenging , and im already expierencing "sudden whiners" saying its to hard. Im most proud of the intense boss battle that pretty much sucks you in due to the awesome music, and the LAZERS that this guy pulls off. Theres two parts to the boss. The first part he only has 2 attacks, eye lazers and wall lazers that come toward you. but the second part , after you pretty much destroy the factory. He fly up in the air due to his pyscic ablilites. and from then on the second part , there are a total of 5 attacks on the second part. you pretty much have to hit him , with your sackboy , in the head. triggering a pair or impact sensors. and after a while you kill him. i blame the contest for that gameplay. Hopefully in boss battle will definitly help improve my chances of winning this contest, afterall how many people do you think are gonna make bosses for their entrys? but.. he looks sexy http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/6360/aphoto5n.jpg * >>Scenery: my main focus wasnt about the scenery.. for once. it was infact the platforming, but anyways my goals for the scenery was to make it nice, neat , and very polished , and i do believe i achieved that. The boss looks amazing , took me a few hours rofl.. Overall: I do hope yall get a chance to play this bad boy of an entry. and i surely hope there wont be any surprising glitches with the boss, that some how most of my "other bosses" have. anyways, if you find a problem , please talk to me right away.
