randomizer logic

| im having trouble creating randomizer logic for my level basically i have lasers and i want each one to fire randomly i tried adjusting but they seem to follow a different set pattern each time causing the player to predict the pattern at times so i was wondering does anyone have any trouble shooting ideas on how to make it really random? im moderate when it comes to logic but this one i cant figure out  | 2011-06-11 20:08:00 Author: Unknown User  |
| They did break the randomizer at launch (not sure if fixed), so it may just be an issue with the randomizer itself. Are you certain it follows 'set' patterns, or is it just you see patterns in what is actually random. If it's repeatable reliably, it's not random. If you only notice it certain times, it should be fine. Try it out in play mode. Basically the randomizer chooses a random sequence each time it is created(Such as starting a level or when it is emitted). | Just create a small hologram, put the randomizer on it and link it to a single (or more if you want) tag keys on that same holo. Create tag sensors with the same colors and names for each laser. Capture the hologram. Create an emitter that emits it when the player gets close enough or triggers a button or something. Just don't let it spawn automatically in the beginning of the map. Make sure the emitted tag keys are in the tag sensors detection radius. That way the randomizer will almost always get created with a different seed. | 2011-06-12 00:31:00 Author: Unknown User |
