Ran into a problem
Archive: 3 posts
I have a system of "teeth" that I have moveing in a wave starting from left to right and then looping back on itself. I want the bottom row to do the same but I don't know how to get them to stay in their place until the sequencer activates thier mover again. I want it to look something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtyF0uCtdQw at 5:00 but I want a bottom row to do the same. All on a continuous pattern. | 2011-06-11 12:02:00 Author: Unknown User |
Wouldn't batteries on a sequencer connected to pistons set to fowards/backwards do what your asking. | 2011-06-11 12:21:00 Author: Jakeamorris25 Posts: 72 |
Yea, I tried pistons but I can't get the timing to work properly, the pistons fire too fast and slowing them down makes the timing on the battery run out too fast to look like a wave motion. **EDIT UPDATE** I managed to get it working now, its not as pretty as using movers but w/e. but after getting it working I ran into another problem. My Two-Way switch isn't flipping. Any idea's on how to fix it? The switch will start two sequencers (to start the teethish things moving), a mover (to raise the door), and a chip that will push out a spinning wheel with sponges on it for the player to grab ahold of and swing across to the next part. | 2011-06-11 14:18:00 Author: Unknown User |
