| I was thinking that perhaps we could have a Banned User Log, with a list of banned users and why they were banned, duration of ban, and anything else that would be good. Personally, I trust the mods and admins to ban correctly, as they always have in the past, but there have been quite a few threads recently about certain users who were banned, and I wouldn't be too surprised if someone made a thread about BloodLustKanibal(or however it's spelled) being banned. | 2008-12-10 00:04:00 Author: BassDeluxe  Posts: 984 |
| Eh..No. It's not really any normal member's business why members get banned. Some members might be embarrassed for the reason why they were banned, or simply don't want others to know.(Would you want to know why you got banned?) Also, if we told you why a member was banned, I could see a lot of members pointlessly challenging the staffs decisions. I'm not pointing fingers at you BassDeluxe. But Bans are the staff's concern. Threads about Banned members shouldn't even made. It's not like we're trying to hide things from you. But things are preferred to be as 'confidential'. | Well, I was thinking that people knowing why you were banned could be a repercussion, another reason why you should try to avoid it. But like I said, I don't really care to know, myself. Unless it was a really close friend or something. I'm just tired of seeing threads about people wanting to know why so-and-so got banned, and seeing BloodLustKanibal being banned made me think about this. But, I trust your judgement.
