Hello everyone! it has been a long time has it not?
Introducing the second part of the series in which your poor sackboy is swallowed by an ogre but nothing is quite what it seems inside!
The second part in this twisted tale reveals some new characters professor rubius fortesque and F.L.T Cybot. When the ogre decided he required a rather large and expensive toothpick he used the local Sack Industries Inc laboratories chimney and then decided he needed a snack again so he swallowed the whole lab.. power cables as well!
Ever since poor rubius has been stuck in his half digested lab waiting for the inevitable moment when the stomach and intestine acids will erode it away from under his feet. However, due to his vast intellect he has started to build a boat that can sail through the intestines and to freedom!.... he just needs a power source. It is about this time your sackboy appears on the scene and after a narrow escape decides to help the mad scientist who promises you a free ticket on the boat if you get the power source for him which is lost deep within the decaying lab.
Part 2 will play out over 2 acts with this one acting as an explanation of the next part so expect a few more cutscenes than normal though i have made sure there is plenty of action... including a mini boss battle with a rather shocking enemy.
It is highly recommeded to play the first part first which can be found here. Feel free to continue leaving comments on it and reviews as im sure there are parts i can still improve!

Wish me luck for act 2!!! its going to be good i promise!
I had to install what i like to call a killswitch which destroys half the level that is no longer being seen/played on so that complexity is reduced! it really helps remove lag later on in the level.

I got to play these levels today and must say that I was blown away. I left some "ingame" comments, but thought I'd say something here as well. The level design is absolutely incredible. The game play was fantastic and for me, I thought the pacing was fine. The only negative thing I could find was that when I had to take the elevator down to flip the switches, I was back a layer and just walked right off the edge and fell to the bottom, leaving the elevator above me. No problem I just hit retry. Maybe make the elevator an extra layer wide or put some kind of barrier in that spot.

I loved the boss battle in the 1st chapter. I thought it was an original, challenging, yet fun battle. The boss battle in this installment was a bit more challenging, but once you get the hang of it, it wasn't so bad and having the hints was a nice touch. I loved the cinematics, especially when the scientist caught on fire. Hilarious. "I'm on fire! Why won't anyone help me?" Too funny.

Overall, great level. Fun to play. This series really should be picked, especially part one. Definitely deserves more plays than it's getting. Thank you for sharing it and for the experience. No need for F4F as my levels stink.

Since reading your wonderful feedback (which i cannot thank you more for!) i have fixed the issues you have raised. I have added a fence by the elevator so that you cannot change layers before you get inside the lift and the back layer now has a metal beam running along it which you can stand on rather than fall down the lift shaft.
I wanted to create a much more advanced boss battle for this part as the antibodies are meant to be the most feared thing in the ogres body. Throughout the next part they are going to be seen a lot more though not directly battled as much though each time you do face one it does have its own unique attack to try and finish you off. Also the fire scene with the scientist was added at the very last second! i am very glad you like it!

Other fixes i have made include increased frame rates, checkpoints activating sooner during the water rising scenes and slower dialogue as it is quite common to miss a lot of what the scientist is saying.
I hope other people follow your example soon and leave some reviews here i feel a bit disheartened that this is lacking activity while bomb survivals are getting hundreds of plays in a day!

Wow, I honestly do not see how you don't have more plays on this level! It's very deserving of it, and you even got the attention of StevenI (I dunno if that means anything, but it might)! You've definitely used the Extra Layers glitch to your advantage throughout this level, giving a claustrophobic atmosphere to the amazing environment. I loved how you combined the fleshy scenery with the rusted metal of the laboratory; however, I was lost on what to do when I got to the laboratory; the scientist refused to follow me past the checkpoint until I pulled him down with me. Other than that, I absolutely enjoyed this series and the attention to detail in almost ever aspect. It shows that you've spent a lot of time on this.

By the way, I was wondering why players aren't already equipped with a grabinator as soon as they respawn in the fight against the antibody? To increase the level of difficulty? I found it to be a bit frustrating that I couldn't reach the power-up in time before getting blown to pieces or electrified. ^^;

I see that you've opted for F4F, so would you care to go through any of my levels in my signature when you get the chance? I feel a bit awkward asking you to do this since your levels are much more fantastic than mine, but I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey very nice level.

I played part 1 first and thought this one was a massive improvement although the first was good.

I really liked the characters in this level especially the personality and small features you put into them.
I thought the textures and level layout were done well as well as the layer glitch you used.

The whole lab industrial thing inside the Ogre was a great feel. I was expeting more bodily insides but this was better.
I've gotta admit i found the bosses in both your levels to be a little difficult and long but the bosses themselves were pretty good and very inventive.
Your use of lighting and effects have improved tremendously since the first level and i can't wait to see the next part.

Thanks for the lovely detailed feedback! i have a couple of answers for your questions!
Regarding the scientist... i have on many occasions tried to get him to go over that edge using faster movement speeds, larger versions of him so he is more likely to fall over the edge rather than get stuck due to longer legs etc... i think what i might do is add a follower that turns on when he hits that edge then turns off after he passes it just to make sure that he never stops there... Thanks for bringing it to my attention once more.
In concerns to the boss fight i did want to add some difficulty to him by making you have to go back to the middle of the arena for the grabinator however this also provided me with a target spot for all attacks to work around. With the grabinator at the checkpoint rather than in the middle the player may actually get hit more by the edge attacks which they would not normally be near if they are concerntrating on getting back to the middle. The two towers of lightning are a prime example of an edge attack that move their way towards the middle and then make the player keep in line with them. If the player stays near the edge instead they could get hit by these a lot more. Does that make sense? I will try and come up with some way to balance this... Stay tuned.
Also i am more than happy to play some of your levels i have found some real gems here on the forum so i am looking forward to checking yours out too!

I have to admit i was pretty worried when i firts started this series that people would get bored of being in a body pretty quickly... yes it is a unique place for a level though the amount you can interact with actual body does make things fairly limited (though i do have a lot more up my sleeve yet!) the idea that the player can interact with objects and even people who have also been swallowed by such a large beast gave this theme a lot more to work with and what can be more unique than a decaying laboratory half digested by an ogre? lol
I am planning on taking at least two hit points off the antibodies health which considering the way the fight works is quite a substantial loss. He originally only needed 6 hits which was too little so i put it to 10 so 8 should be a happy middle ground!
I will be more than happy to play that level expect a review soon
