If i am not mistaken when you have vista there is a way to have the bottom part of the screen with your windows not show up. If anyone knows how to do that please tell me. Or tell me im crazy and this isnt possible

You don't need Vista for this, Windows XP works too. Simply right click the taskbar, select Properties, and then check the box labeled Autohide the taskbar. Is this what you meant?
