Are there any methods of using another digital camera than a PS3 Eye Camera to get a snapshot of something to import into the game? Are there any other methods in general of image import? I'm wanting to grab a logo to put in my level, but I do not currently have a PS3 Eye. What options are available to me? Is there anyone here who does have a camera and could get the snapshot and put it in a level for me to pick up? Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Can't be done any way other than with the PSEye or Eyetoy. You might find an Eyetoy for cheap somewhere. PSEye will work with computers, but computer cam's wont with Eye. I might be able to help... what's the logo?

So just to be clear, you need the whole logo including the "different on the mountain" text and the mountains themselves... not just a regular Mountain Dew logo, correct? It's going to be tough getting the logo to come out clearly at that small an image size. Are you planning on using this as a template to redo the logo in game?

I know the image is small. I tried to find a larger version but all I came up with was the logo shows at the end of that youtube video just without the circular background. I am looking for the full thing, logo and text. I'm planning to make it into a medallion to hang from a room in a level. Thank you again for your help.

As long as the image is roughly recognizable it doesn't have to be perfect, but I need it somewhat soon if possible. Thank you again so very much m(_ _)m

I have your image ready. I added you in my vacant PSN spot I keep open for this kind of thing, so if you could either message me here when you'll be on or send me an invite when you see me on the PSN then I can hand it over to you. Sorry it took a few days, my schedule's been pretty full. Sadly, it isn't the greatest quality due to the image size and the PSEye not being of great quality to begin with. Hopefully it's enough to get the job done for you though. I took shots of both images, so perhaps by combining them you can get a better result.

Sorry about that. I'm not sure why it keeps doing that to people on my list. I've checked my settings and everything seems normal, but it won't let others join for some strange reason. Anyways, nice meeting you... and I hope the image is clear enough to work with. Cheers!

As I said, if you need anything else just let me know. Also, I apologize for cutting out so fast after getting the image to you. In retrospect, it might have come off as being a bit rude. It's been a really long day, and I was just about to head off for some Zzz's when I noticed you were online. I would have normally stayed to chat, see what fun things you're working on, or maybe even hop into a quick game or something. I hope I didn't seem rude at all. Okay... NOW I'm finally off to sleep.
