His name is Sackboy. Like everything else in his world, he is a toy. He runs and jumps and slides through an endlessly inventive landscape made of cushions and weights and ramps and springs and glowing bubbles, all rendered with a gritty, high-res perfection which finally shows you why that PS3 you bought was so expensive. Nobody shoots at anybody. When you're done with the levels the game comes with ? and that takes a long time ? you can build and download more. LittleBigPlanet is not an adrenaline game; it's a restful, chill-out kind of experience. Let Sackboy do all the work. You have all the fun. The top 10 are as follows: 1. Grand Theft Auto IV 2. I haven't heard of Braid, Hunted forever or Fieldrunners. Should I have? Braid is for Xbox. Its a game you download like fl0w. Fieldrunners is on the iPhone appstore and is great tower defense... much like Desktop Tower Defense (http://www.handdrawngames.com/DesktopTD/Game.asp)

I haven't heard of Braid, Hunted forever or Fieldrunners. Should I have? Braid is an XBL Arcade game, Hunted Forever is a free online flash game, and fieldrunners is an IPhone App. So far I've only tried Hunted Forever of those three, and it's good, but not really that good.

braid is a platform puzzler is my understanding. all i've seen about it was a podcast from somewhere (either G4 or 1UP show) a while back.

I'm shocked that metal gear solid 4 isn't on that list it is an odd list to be sure. i wonder what criteria they used. and you'd think a magazine like Time would have Prince of Persia in there, if for no other reason than its artistry (i haven't played it yet). it's always odd to me when main stream media comments on video games. their opinions seems almost random.

None of you heard about Braid? I heard about it constantly for a few weeks straight on blogs, G4, and various podcasts. People really got into it. It's a platformer/puzzle game where you can manipulate time. It's supposed to be really fun. I have no idea why Force Unleashed is on that list. This had to be written by someone who just heard of these games and never actually played them. Even the demo for that game was terrible. I agree that MGS4 should be on any good top 10 list for this year. I have Prince of Persia and I love it, but it's probably not top 10 material, despite being drop dead gorgeous. Elton
