Expand/Shrink Switch.
Archive: 6 posts
Being able to expand and shrink objects by use of a switch would be pretty cool wouldn't it? I don't know if there would be issues, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. You could place it on an object, and set the max and minimum size, the time it takes, pause, synch, everything every other switch has. Seems pretty compatible to me, and it would be a good for top down cinematics ^^ | 2011-06-02 05:43:00 Author: iKyle94 ![]() Posts: 60 |

Have you tried making an object emit itself slightly larger and destroy itself at the same time? | 2011-06-05 15:43:00 Author: GameRoom ![]() Posts: 200 |
This could be enabled for objects without physics properties (e.g. holo) and we should be allowed to disable physics of all sorts of objects, so we can program our own physics properties using basic logic. If it is too much of a hassle, the resizing could be strictly cosmetic, so we can make wobble animations without stressing the engine. | 2011-06-07 20:27:00 Author: hesido ![]() Posts: 166 |
