Yarbone sig shop

Ok so i decided to make free signatures (and a fitting avatar if you want). I use Gimp 'cause it's free.... And photoshop is not (I know, don't say it!)

---->Just say what you want in you sig, maybe the colors you want or the style.

But be aware... I can't make EVERYTHING
I watch tutorials.
Tutorial = technique expansion
So i combine what i learned from those tutorials and than watch/read some more.

And I am a human so don't expect to get your sig immediately. I got school, more school, sleeping time, and school. lol

Hey that is cool, i am in desperate need of a good sig, i mean, i have over 500 posts and i am only recognizable by my avatar and Arcade scores, I think it is time that i get a sig done for me, Just put my name, Rainfire, somewhere in it and try and go off of the style in my avatar just maybe a little bit flashy, oh and keep it related to my name.

i use gimp alot too(i painted my current sig with it) but usually i use photoshop cs2 for more complex stuff(gimp can do complex too, but its a much steeper learning curve to figure out how to do it)		2008-12-30 14:11:00

just by painting it with a graphics pad, although i put it through a lot of blurry filtery stuff to stop it from looking crap

Because I suck. I can't even get an image to scale, only the box. Most people would of figured out how to do that in the first few minutes of their time with GIMP.

Nice sig shop you got going here. The only sigs I make are for myself, and I barely ever use them :[. I find it fun actually! I have been doing it for a while but gave up for ages. I actually made my current one while I was in the airport when I was waiting for my plane to come and I had like a half hour to spare. That was like 4 days ago or something. Anyway, great sigs! Though I do recommend a 1 pixel border around your sigs. They make them look a lot crisper ;]. Thats just my opinion though, do whatever you want.2009-01-12 14:54:00

Wow yeah it's much, considering i have to cut the sackdudes... Well i don't have to. I'm not saying i won't do it though, because it's a great challenge I guess i'll think of something.And I'll do both a sig and an avatar

Can you make a better background for my guitar sig and avatar? Be sure to put in my username too. Every time I put my sig in the thread: "Rate the signature above you", people rate it 6 or 7 out of ten and say the guitar and the fire looks sweet but the background and the text could be better. heres the guitar + fire by itself:

It only took me under an hour to make
No transparant background Text would not render very well in Gimp so I took a snap of inkscape and cropped it using Gimp. I'm sure you would't mind having no transparant background as long as it is a solid color.		2009-04-05 03:13:00

Umm anyways. This thread is a couple of months old.

You should always make sure you are not reviving a thread that is dead, in order to do so check the date of the latest post. One, or two weeks is ok. A month is the max unless you have a very good reason to revive the thread. In this case, this thread is no longer active and Yarbone has moved to the Sig Exchange.
