Enemy vulnerability.....

.....doesnt seem to work.

For baddies with unprotected type brains, setting vulnerability to "on", isnt that supposed to make them vulnerable to the 3 damaging elements (fire/electric/gas)? So that if the brain hits one, it pops?

This doesnt seem to ever happen though.

I'd also heard that if the enemy in question had any part that used a particular lethal element, the whole thing would be invulnerable to it, so I've made sure that's not the case.

I've yet to get this working though.....

Tell me, is there something Im missing here? This is driving me crazy.

i don't know but i've never heard that the dangers harm the brains. I thought the only way to kill the vulnerable brain was to jump on it????? 2008-12-08 10:53:00

I've yet to get "Vulnerable" to do anything as well. Maybe it only works on creatures created from an emitter?

In any case, I'm not sure the feature is that useful IMO. I've yet to need to destroy a creature using fire, gas or electricity

A vague work around would be to make the enemy out of disolve material and use a magnetic key/switch combination to kill it. You could put the key on the ground if it needs to move to a certain point to die, or attach it to an emittable object if that's what you want to use to kill it. You would put the switch on the creature itself and connect it to the dissolve it's built out of.

The only problem with this set up is that it would leave brains and other creature bits lying around. It's hardly ideal.
