In versus mode, players are ranked with some sort of red bar rather than points. What does this bar mean?

I asked this same thing within the first week of LBP2s release. Apparently, it's real simple, it goes up if you win, down if you lose. I think the idea is that it works like a win/lose ratio. If you never lose, it'll be full, if you never win it's empty, and if you have the same number of wins as losses, you get half a bar. Basicly, it's a win/lose ratio, displayed as a bar, not a number. At least, that's how I think it works, based on personal observation. Anyone care to correct me?

Ostler I'm pretty sure you're right. There's something to it though for total number of losses as far as how far up the ranking scoreboard you make it. So to be #1 you have to have the best ratio and the most wins... I think.

In my vs. minigame 99 Red Balloons (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=45005-99-Red-Balloons), I hold the top score (which makes sense, I've played it a lot). However... My runner-up has only played it a couple of times. If it was simply a matter of W/L ratio, I would have double what the other players have. I believe it's either just your top score represented in bar form, or it's a ratio of your winning/highest score vs. your lowest player's score.
