I've seen several trace references throughout this forum speculatively hinting towards the possibility of high-quality audio importing through the USB port, but I have yet to see any definitive confirmation or disconfirmation of this option. Has this been done yet? If not, is the PSEye still viewed as the highest-quality microphone (another thing I've repeatedly read on the forum), or is there a better option?

Perhaps I should rephrase my question (hopefully without infringing upon the "no bumping" policy): is there a voice recording method available with high enough quality to justify the time and money invested? If so, what is this method?

If so, what is this method? To make sure you don't have too high expectations: there is no method of achieving the sound quality of the story mode. It will always sound canned. I, too, would love to read some tips on how to improve it, but I am afraid it will not matter a lot.

Ya, I've got a high condenser microphone that should be pumping out studio quality, but I'm not getting much better quality than the PSeye. I'm looking for a way to improve the quality myself so I can do some proper voice-acting in my levels.
