I was wondering if a couple people would check out one of my levels:

LittleBigHavic

PSN: csmith23

Thanks in advance, please leave me some feedback on how to improve my creations. Thanks!

Tried it, played it, and the overall synopsis is....meh.

You put in the description that it is a challenging level, which is fine if it is actually challenging, which I digress to say really isn't.
The hardest part of the level was at the beginning, trying to jump across those float blocks, which in itself isn't exactly what I'd call an ordeal, but more of a hassle.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a horrible level, just not a very good one. Spruce it up a little, make it tougher, and especially longer. Also, some music wouldn't kill.

That's fine, first levels are usually the hardest.

Look at some other people's tough levels, might give you an idea. I have one (Trial of Skill v1.01B) and most of my included elements consisted of close call scenarios, quick jumping, precision jumping, and occasional random trick pieces (platforms that disappear, things that come out of no where, etc.)

More than anything though, it just takes practice. Experiment in the stage creator, mess around with the tools a bit, try to find some neat knicks and knacks to make your stages better overall.

Yeah your levels will get better and better as you go along. Looking back at my first level I almost want to take it right out of the community...but for some reason people are still playing it and hearting it haha Practice makes perfect is really the name of the game when making levels though. So much to learn, which is truly the appeal of this game imo2008-12-09 02:44:00

Sorry, but I'm a bit of a nitpicker when it comes to writing, but did you intend for that to be LittleBigHavic or LittleBigHavoc?2008-12-09 02:50:00
