My level got deleted!?

Archive: 9 posts

Hi,

My level (http://lbp.me/v/x1j470) that was mmpicked 2 months ago got deleted from the community, I don't know why... and i'm totally flipping out right now. I recently got banned from PSN because of an inappropriate imae, see: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=57174-Image-inappropriate

and now this... What gives, no news from MM or anything, don't know what to do ... What??

I may help if you post what the name of said level was, the link you gave was a deadend. I remember most MM picks and that inappropriate image was probably a hidden "smily face" somewhere on your level. Ive seen a few people with there levels taken away because of said picture... Darn random joiners in create mode...2011-05-27 02:18:00

That's the thing, the link is the correct one, i'm sure of it. It got deleted from lbp.me aswell. My level is called 'Madness is an option' . It was a twinstick shooter that you might remember: 3 different modes , a red small ship shooting white half circles...2011-05-27 08:07:00

Mm gave us a "smily face" sticker in the Watchmen pack, so why would that get a level deleted?

I just don't let random people join me in create mode since it's well... it's my personal level that I've spent loads of time on & find that kids can do very stupid things for the sake of being stupid and messing around. Like this one kid on my friends list that made rude pictures of (err hum) 'man parts' without typing in the explicit word and I wouldn't want to chance that turning up in something that I've put alot of effort into. Hence why I don't play with this person much and even mute him on Live even though he's a very good team player to have. On both my friends list for PSN and Xbox Live.

Advice: Only let trusted friends join you in create mode.
Sorry I don't a clue about the smiley face that people are going on about or why a smiley would cause this.

There is no smiley face that causes it its simply, if there is an indecent image in your level they replace it with a smile face. Also there is always the chance it got hacked. Mm picked it so they had to have played it and seen nothing. Why would they then delete it because someone claims something wrong.2011-05-27 10:47:00

Nooooooooooo! I loved that level ;_;

I'd search through the level and just go over everything and try publishing it again. Really dissapointed to hear that it's gone, I used to play it over and over becuase it was so much fun. I hope Hedgy the lbp.me Hedgehog finds it again soon.

That's a shame, I had your level recommended to me and I was gonna play it
Yea just try looking around for anything dodgy in create mode, someone put a swastika in one of mine and got it banned
If all else fails you could try contacting spaff or tom at Mm about it, though not sure if it would do any good
