electricity

In the level Currant Affairs, in the early part of the level sackboy will have to jump without getting zapped by the electric current by the two electric metal balls. How is that done? is the electric lines emitted? or another way? THANKS in advance!2011-05-24 21:31:00

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess it's achieved through using holograms connected to a sequencer. Have 2 or 3 frames of the lightning made from hologram activated through batteries on a sequencer rapidly. You'd obviously need to lethalise each frame too using the same batteries.2011-05-24 23:22:00

As a point of clarity, is it this part of Currant Affairs that you're asking about?

Those zaps are visible holograms that have been charged up with the Electricity Hazard tool.
They are indeed emitted. You can set their timing off from each other through a combination of Frequency and Sync.
For example, if they both have a frequency of 2.0, and the first one has a Sync of 1.0, whereas the second has a sync of 0.0 or 2.0, they will poom poom poom poom at a regular rate, alternating 1 seconds apart.

I've whipped up a demo for you in my Tools for Other Creators (http://lbp.me/v/zkymt3). Check out the Tesla Coil, especially around the static ball, which has "flakes" of electricity floating up from it at 4 different syncs.
