Another tour de force from the gameplay master Shookie. If looking for a fun platforming experience check his levels, really intergrates the platforming devices and visual theme into a flowing gaming experience. An atmospheric quest through a mystic ruin, the story unfolds as you progress through clever section after section of platforming fun. Loved the inverted sections, always make me lol and turn my controller upside down when I encounter them. Plenty of well placed bubble collecting spots and room for exploration, neither hampering sense of flow or direction within the level. I picked up on the ICO / Shadow of the colossus subtle background reference that runs throughout the level. Wonderful use of theme and fun playing experience.

Played this the other day and I have to say the visuals here are simply stunning! Not sure I was too fussed on the flip camera (the gameplay element was challenging, I think it's just the transition between the two cameras that threw me) but on the whole this is truly a creation to be proud of. Well done!

Hey thanks for the great feedback everyone. The Ico/SOTC inspiration would be a correct interpretation. Though the level is simply taking place in the same world as those games and not an attempt to recreate those games. Enochs level is a worthy emulation of the original and captures a lot of the same emotions those games did. Most people come to expect a platformer from me but those elements were secondary to what I tried to accomplish which was atmosphere and believability of the world I had created. The story is very thin but I did so because I wanted players to interpret it however they see fit. Too much story and the player would not be able to do that. Thanks again for the feedback. Any other thoughts and feedback would be great.

Another great level from Shookie. VISUALS: The architecture design looks outstanding, and the level has extrodinairy lighting. SOUND: Good music choice for this level. GAMEPLAY: The gameplay of this level is a blast. It has very good use of the grappling hook, bounce pads, and moving platforms. OVERALL: This level is a must play. A yay, a heart, and a positive review.

Hey justin thanks. Seems I can always depend on you to give some great feedback. Now to return the favor. I will gladly play your level and give some feedback as well. Not an f4f thing but you always give me feedback so its only fair I give back. Glad you liked it. I want to actually make this a short series of maybe 3 more levels. Technically this one is more of a prologue. However I have to start work on my comp level for lbn legends comp. I have started the next honey factory fiasco project as well.
