I want to take my game to a friends and it'd be nice not to have to start fresh. Will I be able to access my stuff by just signing in?

Nope, but you can just go to the start menu > profile settings and back up the profile to HDD. Then you can put it onto a USB stick and when you get to your friends' you can use the 'import profile' option, again in the LBP2 settings menu.

Yet, by doing the above, it sometimes has problems and also dont forget to delete old profile once you go back to your own, if you gather any new objects, story items, ect.

Or else you got PS+ and saves on cloud + online data is remote, all levels you got on your earth can be copied to the moon

Thanks guys. I couldn't figure out how to copy a backed up profile so I just went without. Very strange to see that my Earth and such were custom but most of everything else was generic.

I think your custom planets are saved onto your PSN account, because I just had the default blank earth during the downtime.
