Hi i just got my LBP1 GOTYE so it has everything like the free DLCs but it is in EU version. so can i transfer and use it to my LPB2 US version?

I'm not 100% sure, but I fear that you won't be able to transfer content between the two versions - at least not the DLC

EU DLC wont work in US LBP2, if GOTY is in form of DLC ofcorse (not sure)

haha...thanks alot i have confirmed that my LBP1 is in US version also...Its is BSUS? thats in usa version right? bu can i still import my LPB1 to me LPB2 even if i played LBP2 first?Thanks much! love!

yes...I bought the LBP1 GOTY after LBP2 and it transferred everything just fine. LBP2 checks your LBP1 profile and if it changes it asks to reimport your objects. I don't know about the compatibility between the different versions though.

But to answer your question blackeagle; Yes you will be able to transfer LBP1 content to LBP2. I do think that you will have to start over with a new profile though, but I'm not 100% on that either

Nope, I data tranfer all the time, you do not have to satrt over... You can transfer items, but not a whole profile. The profile can only be transferred the first time. After that it will prompt you to transfer items collected. If you import your profile, it clears all your progress. I see...haha thanks much... Well in the LBP1 GOTYE do i need to download the 30$ worth free contents? or will I automatically get it in the game? It's included on the disc. I don't recall having to download anything.
