Ghost Glitch?

Well i never seem to avoid bugs do I? lol

This time i made a really thermo draining logic, that takes maybe 7 percent. The catch is i have to duplicate this logic six times, two for each character...so to make long story short, the game worked fine, although i needed to save on thermo space. Now blinking at 95 percent

So i set all this logic to emit when its needed and delete when its not...which solves my thermo issue, now at 60 percent--but i notice something weird happens when my character wants to attack now.

He runs to the enemy and instead of striking...he stops and disappears! Keep in mind i have not set any emit logic on the character, nor have i even saved him for emitting. The strange thing is this character re-emits himself and goes in the same motions he did before and disappears--long story short, its a huge loop that keeps going.

Im serious, that character is a ghost or something lol Surely, someones run into this by now, any solutions?

This can be one of two things that I can think of.

One
If the sackbot is acting, then yes it will loop if set to that.

Two
Copying logic over and over seems to mess it up, as I have heard.

Maybe not those but I tryed...

I've run into some serious game failures when dealing with massive amounts of logic.

Don't select multiple holograms with lots of logic and try to change colour.....game crashes upon exiting the edit hologram screen (was repeatable as well, not random)
While using the object capture emit option, don't group select the captured objects. Emitters then emit then go crazy and start shooting everything you've selected in circles (seemed random, couldn't repeat)
Don't copy heavy logic with emitters and destroyers onto other things while unpaused. Either emitters break (no longer work at all) or everything gets destroyed (emitters breaking seemed random, destruction was repeatable)

Never had your issue pop up though. Maybe because I never use sackbots (were you?).

Yea, i just deleted the sackbot entirely. I had way to much to do than sit around trying to figure out the glitch. The new one, which uses the same logic, works perfectly. There was another weird things that happened with that old sackbot, i think it was possessed lol

No, on loop the sackbot goes back to the position it started from and then re does the action. Plus i had it on play once anyway and the sackbot never finished the animation i gave him--and even then nothing should be moving in pause mode. Which i think i forgot to mention...

Ok this is just weird. It only happens when engaging a sackbot enemy. Since monsters are material i never really noticed until recently. Additionally i deleted the previous sackbot, and used a different one with a similar costume, and magically enough, it only happens to that particular character. The other characters behave normally. Im not sure what is causing this glitch, theres nothing in my logic that warrants this since it is duplicated logic.

Anyone else had a similar problem?

That is bizarre. Perhaps it's some failure in the logic that forces the entire system to delete itself, to stop it from crashing the game.....???
Make a vid of it and submit it to MM.

Maybe i should make one, its kinda hard to believe until you see it. It just makes no sense that it only happens with sackbots enemies, with the third slot character. I will try deleting him yet again and see...*sigh*2011-06-27 18:30:00
