Hello LBPC'ers!!!
After a lot of time, I brought to you my newest level. I finished it since a lot of time, but because of all this PSN stuff...well, you know. This level is special, because this is a tribute for my first hearted creator and who brings me here, to LBPCentral: Taffey/tsr13. So, if you have a chance, play it and tell me what do you think, I'll do F4F to everyone, just tell me in which of your "creatures" you want it
Hope you like it.
P.S. As I've said, this is a tribute to Taffey and it has a lot of winks related with him and his levels, so if you find one, let me know it!

Hey man I've never heard of you before so I didn't know what to expect. Let's just say, your level brilliant and I can't believe I hadn't heard of you yet!

The Bad

Overused Stickers
-This one isn't a big deal, and it's more personal preference, but I felt that you used stickers excessively at times.
Kind of Confusing
-This was only initially at the beautiful title screen. I was confused about how to start the level since it said to run down the hill and yet my character couldn't escape from out of the moon. I figured it out, but it could have been clarified a tad bit more.
The Scoreboard
-It looked like it was sort of sloppily placed in the level as if it were rushed, but it wasn't too big of a deal.

The Good

Beautiful Title
-I loved the font you used for the title as it really fit in nicely. After figuring out the sticker switch on the cacti, the UFO beaming up the cow was a nice touch.
Good Use of Stickers
-Although they were overused at times, they were still neatly placed and I could tell time was spent on this.
Interesting Story
-The whole UFO part was a neat effect and you stuck with the idea from the beginning title screen until the ending spaceship.
The Setting
-More specifically, the entrance to the UFO in the tubes. I loved the fluid-like look inside the tubes that held "my boy" and the guy who calls him "my boy."

The Hwhat

The Rating
-I gave it a well-deserved :star::star::star::star::star:

But thank you for that accusation.

Hey everybody!
Thanks to those who have played my level, and those who have an intention to play it .
Yep, I'm indie_r3cords and I'm the creator of A Curious Sack and Hayal Dunyasi </publicity>.
However, many of you dont know about me because I'm not a very active user in LBPC and this is because of my lazy computer...you know...BSOD.
Well, also, it always take me a lot of time to finish one level, although this took me much less time than Hayal Dunyasi. Actually, I was working on a sequel to one of my previous levels...but this idea came to my mind and at that moment I knew that I needed to make this level.
Also, this is my little molehill to contribute to keep the PSP-Side alive.
The main idea from my level came to me when I watched the trailer for "Cowboys and Aliens" and I took the name of the level from the Pixar's short film "Lifted". Actually, the title scene of the beggining is inspired by that short film, but instead of taking place on a farm, the beggining of the level is on the desert in order to contribute with the cowboy style of the level.
Also, for the Spaceship, I wanted it too look unlike anything made before, I mean, who says that the spaceships are all made of metal? Well, my UFO is colorfull and full of weird stuff.
What about references to Taffey? Have anyone discovered one of them? The name of the train company "WANTL" is one...Any ideas?

Hey Indie!!

Once again you have made a very fun and unique level. Playing one of your levels is always different, and when I spawn into one of your creations for the first time, I never know what to expect.

The opening looks amazing. And I shot those cactus, no problem. I loved when the cow got sucked up in the UFO! The train sequence was very cool! At first I was trying to line up a perfect shot, but pray and spray seemed to work better. I finally figured out where to stand without getting killed, but I won't tell anyone.

Breaking out of the glass by busting through was great! I liked that part very much! The platforming in this part was super fun!! I have to admit, I was confused in one part. I was looking for the dynamite, but never found any. But I noticed you used grab material, so I solved the puzzle without explosives. The story was very good. I was hooked from start to finish.

Another awesome level from you bro!!

Hearted of course! <3

Bads...: Nothing at all
Don't know what to tell more

Woow this a really cool level. The stroy was engaging but didn't detract too much from the gameplay, a great combo! Speaking of the gameplay, it was varied and enjoyable and felt like you'd used a lot of new things I hadn't seen before. The cameras with the laser gases? So awesome!!

Couldn't really fault the level, the ending was a bit sudden but I'm guessing thermo issues or something? Either way I left your level feeling a lot happier

:star::star::star::star::star: and you earned my <3

As this was F4F, it'd be cool if you could check out my level Minecart Madness

As much as I would've loved to play this, I simply can't. My joystick is too glitchy to allow me to do those sticker switches. :/2011-05-27 23:21:00

Great level! :star: :star: :star: :star: and <3 . (Yes, 4 stars)

It was an excellent level! I loved it. The reason I took away a star was because I needed to look on here to figure out how to start (Shooting the very small cacti). I did feel like it was short, but it wasn't a big problem because it feels to me like it the thermo was full.

You and your father are two security guards who work for a train company, protecting the trains from the bad guys in the wild west. Apparently, everything goes normal, but something weird happened...

Story:
The story is pretty cool, with the cowboys being abducted by aliens. The dialogue is very nice. The one problem I had was the depth kinda faded towards the end. 9/10

Gameplay:
The shoot with the sticker was fun at the begining was fun, though at the first part it was kina of misunderstanding what to do. Also it was kina weird that the gun aspect of the gameplay disapeared after you were abducted, than randomly appeared again. The platforming was solid on the most part with you basic jumps and such. The "space horse" though was very hard to control and it didn't always go the way I wanted it to. 8/10

Music/Sound Effects:
Good amout of the right Fx for the level. The music was spot on for the whole level. 10/10

Astheitics:
The asthetic for the Western section was amazing, you really hit that section spot on. The thing that I thought was really awesome was how the background loops during the train section. The Spaceship section, though, was not quite as steller as the first part. The whole aspect of the scene was ok, you also seemed to spam some stickers in spots and some parts were done somewhat sloppy it seams. There were some good aspects of that section as there were many good details in that section of the level and the objects were made looked well. 8.5/10

Originality:
Really neat. Never played a cowboy and aliens level. The gun gameplay were really neat too. Even though its been done before, you put a twist on it with the train section. 10/10

Misc:
There were a lot of tech problems with this level. There was a lot of alternating visable and invisable pistons. The UFO was a big problem as the controlling was iffy, and it would land for me with the hatch being open at the same time. I took me awhile to get out since everytime I exited out of the jetpack it automatically put it back on. It took me awhile to finish the level with that problem. 3.5/10

Lifted is a great level that eberybody should play. Though tech issues hinder the level from reaching its full potential, spectaculars visuals and fun story make this level a must-play.

*Note* The only reason I took off a star was the technical issues, but the rest of the level was steller, so I gave you a heart.

Stuff I Loved: The train sequence. Oh wow, was that ever-so-well done! I'm just going to sit here and think about that bit on the train and smile. UP UP UP Tongue out grin-worthy bit there. Also, I loved the way you made the continents out of palm fronds, that was just some nice, creative sticker work there.

Stuff That Can Die In A Fire: The train sequence. It took me three playthroughs to find someplace safe from enemy fire. But it was still very well done!

Meh Stuff: It may seem really nitpicky of me, but this level would have been improved by a native English speaker going over your grammar. The dialogue was good, but there were errors that screamed "English as a Second Language" at me, and that kept dragging me away from the story. But then, I'm a Grammar Nazi.

Overall: Five stars and a heart, and I'll be going back to the Community Moon tonight to see what else you have.

F4F: Wizard's Spire (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=57301-Wizard-s-Spire) just published... Warning: It's long.
