Controlinator Query - Uncontrolable Controlinator

Is there a way to make a Controlinator uncontrolable by Sackpeople but controlable by Sackbots? As in a player who got near to the Controlinator wouldnt be able to get in it but a Sackbot could easily hop in the same controlinator? Thanks for any help 2011-05-22 15:11:00

I would put a tag on your sackbot and a tag sensor connected to a NOT gate on your controlinator eject seat. this way only the sackbot could enter. you could put this right on the controlinators circuit board.

so if a player walks by, they will not be able to enter. if a sackbot walks by, the eject will disable and he will jump in.

so if a player walks by, they will not be able to enter. if a sackbot walks by, the eject will disable and he will jump in.

However, the simultaneous presence of a bot and a player within the hot zone may trigger the player getting sucked in instead of the sackbot. You can make that chance very very small by making zones tiny and perhaps using an impact sensor instead of a tag sensor; the IS is way more accurate than tag sensors; if you stick a tiny block of invisible holo in front of the controlinator with an IS on top and keep the radius of the controlinator very small, it should work.

I thought about this as well after I had posted. It depends on what specificity is needed. Even if you set controlinators to do not automatically enter, sackbots will still auto enter (which is usually annoying). So if you set the radius very low, the sackbot will still enter.
