Moving Sackbots to the glitch layers

I've been working on this MK themed fighter for a while now and all is coming along nice. However, I was wondering if there is a way to move sackbots to the 3D Layers. I've tried the traditional way and it doesn't seem to work seem to work. I'm guessing there isn't a way to do this but I'm hopeful and thought I'd ask some of the experts around here for some advice before I ixnay the idea I have brewing. You can, tho Unless you hold them in place, they'll just hop back to regular layers.2011-05-22 23:56:00

I reckon that sackbots, like players, are unable to hop across planes when a thin layer of danger is in between; you can create that with plasmafied 0% holo. I haven't tried it myself, but try to put your sackbot behind such an invisible screen before you transport the whole contraption to the glitch layers.2011-05-23 11:49:00

I've got a whole crowd of sackbots in the backlayers of my prototype WWE level, so it's definitely possible. I'm sure I used the traditional method of capturing them with a front layer tool then emitting them back there, but it's a while since I worked on it so I'm not certain. I'm pretty sure they have 100% gravity tweakers on them to stop them moving forward. Anyways, if you can't figure anything out then let me know and I'll send you a copy of one of my sackbots who I already sent to the back layers.2011-05-23 15:52:00

I have put sackbots in the background, and they just look like they're falling, won't walk around. You can put a controlinator in the background and have a sackbot get in.2011-05-23 19:56:00

OK Thanks for the tips. I'll try a few of these things and see how it goes. I didn't tinker too much with it but I've tried to use the glitch layer tools and capture and emit them in the back layers but they wouldn't even get sent back, they stayed in the main 3 layers. Ill play with it a bit more.2011-05-23 22:51:00

I'm pretty sure that, during the BETA, sackbots could move throughout the extra layers if 'Change Layers' was set to 'No'.2011-05-24 00:07:00
