Need Cam per-player Tricks

My level i am working on is Everyplayer for himself kind of adventure level.
but i need a cam to show a player something that happens far off from where they are.
i can't use Movie Cam as that forces all the players to view it. I tried a game cam
but it would not work. so i tried 10 game cams in a chip that all were the same cam
and would all turn on at the same time, it almost worked. it did indeed show them
what i wanted but it would not stay, it only lasted a moment. and adding even more cams
did not get it to stay longer.

So like... is there a better way to do this? *mew

PS: The Players are Bots BTW.

If the players are bots, why not use the clear hologram follower method for your sackboy. Then when you need them to "see" something else, have the hologram follow another tag for a limited time. This way the player will actually be where the action is that you want them to view. Then send them back to their sackbot.2011-05-22 06:04:00

This is a decent option. I'm not expert an creator but I use this method to navigate through the menus on a game I'm working on that utilizes remote sackbots.

Yeah i was thinking of doing that... but it seemed confusing at best.
turning one off and the other on. then the first one back on...
Ghhaa! i dono... guess I'll have to do that after all. :/

It's just case of turning on the tag you want the follower to follow and turning off all others. You only need a selector to do that.

Guess why I'll tell you guys it's not that simple.
My Bot dies when it don't sense the DCS by it. it's to kill the left over bots
if the players happen to disconnected from the game. meaning i have to turn that off while
the cam is showing you something, then back on after that.

plus i have to make sure only the Bot in the spot where i want it to go off effects only them bots in that spot.
I got it to work just now because i added a counter that only stays counted while the cam tag is active.
I may have not did it in the best way... i dono but it works now anyways.
