I have yet another idea, but i seem to be running into a barrage of clipping issues when i scale letters too low. Anyone know of a way to get around this, or someone who makes really small font?

yup, although it requires your writing to be hologram. if you lay out your letters in "white plastic" (no bevel) or white matter, then put some rubber behind it or turn the background black you can take a photo of the words, and sticking it on holo will only show up the white letters, then you can change the color and brightness to whatever you want, and resize it much smaller than cutout letters. this also means that a whole word has only 4 corners, therefore taking up less thermo than holo cutouts sadly this is the best technique i know of for getting writing really small whilst still readable. ps: your song is taking a while but i am making progress

Well i more need them for letters--didn't know about vertices....so assuming the same thing is applied to any piece of material, i should be able to scale letters to size 10 and then resize then to a single small grid unit? Ill give it a shot, the other method works, but i still have to cut off the holo pieces around the letters, which takes more time than i want it to....
