Well, I went to go see this earlier, and I must say it lives up to the franchise's name. It had an epic plot, amazing action, and good humour to boot, just like very Pirates movie before it. So who else here went to go see it and what did you like/dislike about it? Try to keep spoilers to a minimum though, don't want to ruin it for people. Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...

I saw it on the premiere (18. may) I liked it, it was really funny. But not the best PotC movie... :/

Don't bother seeing it in 3D. It's not worth it. The movie itself I think is great. It's definitely a different Pirates film, but it's still a great movie.

I saw it in 3D and it's a great movie. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of any ship battles or very many ship scenes.

After talking with some friends about this movie I feel like I should clarify what I said when calling this movie "great": When I normally give my opinion of a movie I give what I call a "popcorn review", meaning is it fun to sit and watch mindlessly, like G.I. Joe. In this sense this movie was great. However, giving a critical review of this movie, I have to say it is not that great. I am happy to expand on this if wanted, but in my experience people just want the popcorn review, and call "bs" on the critical review.

I think it's really better than the other 3, because it's Orlando Bloomless, though I haven't seen it yet.

I thought it was brilliant, though I agree there wasn't much ship battles (or scenes for that matter) and the plot was all over the place. Definitely the funniest Pirates movie yet though, some truly great lines from Jack.
