Water Material

Archive: 6 posts

How hard would it be to make a water material?
What I mean by this is a static material that looks like water and has an animated wavy outline.
(That you can swim through.)

If you like this idea, vote it up and make a difference:

This material could have the same properties of holo material: can pass throught objects, and stands in place unless a mover or something is added.2011-05-20 01:22:00

Totally in favour of this.

Also, to add to this, I had a very similar idea ages ago - I'd love to see an 'Air' material. My idea, working the exact opposite to yours. Put it under water, and you get non-dynamic pockets of air underwater.

That would be really cool, you could make all sorts of cool submarines and underwater levels that don't involve just swimming. And I'm in favor of the water idea too.

Please vote it up, people. (in the link)

If it gets enough votes, maybe MM will consider adding it.
