I think there should be magnets, that you can tweak for their strength. There would be an option to tweak the color/name like tags, as well if it's positive or negatively charged. Also, attention radius, etc. and an input so that it can be turned on with a switch or similar. What do you think?

Well, yes, but magnets would be able to be more advanced, and wouldn't require tags or anything-- plus, more variables and possibilities with less logic getting involved.

I think a magnet would be different to a follower for one reason. That it attaches to the parent object like a rod or bolt. But can be used on an emitted object, followers, even on full strength and speed still doesn't lock solid to another object. I would think of a magnet as being a rigid connection, but tweakable to ignore rigid connection.

I also had the magnet idea myself, and I think it would be very useful in a lot of ways, too.
