The Collector's Workshop

Hey guys, new to this forum and I guessed there's no better way to introduce yourself than to tell you guys about one of my levels

My newest level is called "The Collector's Workshop".
It has a few challenging but fun (i hope) puzzles to split up the action :]
It's basically me trying out some fancy techniques to see what I can come up with, but by no means is it a rushed mess.. took the best part of a month of hard work.
I'd be very appreciative if anybody checked it out, maybe comment?
I love constructive critisism so don't hold back your little rants

I'll post some pictures later (maybe a video too) if people are overly interested.

Not too bad. Wasn't the most attractive level but it has some cool moments. The "Did you like my level?" part made me chortle.2008-12-07 01:06:00

Personally it wasn't about asthetics to me, I was directing everything at making it fun for the player, whether i was successful or not, you decide.
I'm making another completely different level which I'm going to spend a lot more time with the aesthetics.
I guess I was just so keen to publish The Collector's Workshop that I kinda didn't really think about looks. I might go back and "re-master" it someday, who knows
But thanks again for the insight, anything in particular I could improve? (minus the visuals)

Jesus, have you ever had that you make a TINY change to one part of your level, then find that ALL YOUR STUPID OBJECTS HAVE DECIDED TO GLUE THEMSELVES TO EVERYTHING AROUND THEM.
It's really hard detaching something with like 10 parts grr

I gave this level three stars

what i liked
-The wheel thing you ride
- the way you put together the first part was clever
Sugesstions
-the part with the missisles frustrated the !@#$ out of me, i kept dying by those electrical triangles either put a double life checkpoint there or just delethalize them
-the begging part, the cardboard kept falling so i had nothing to land on
- make it a little more visualy appealing, right now its kind of blah

overall pretty good
