Critical topdown racer problem; need help.

As you'll know if you've looked at my past forum posts I've been wprking on a top down racer level called Sackro Machines V3 for a while now. The tracks design and building cars as well as the lapcounter is easy. But one problem has arisen and will make the level unplayable if it isn't solved. ![]() At the start of each race you have to pick your car; you grab the sponge colored the same as the car you want; you are then teleported to that car with an instant eject deathless teleporter. The problem is that once somebody grabs any of the sponges player one is put into the related car and everyone else dies and thus the race not only is ruined but won't start due to the countdown requring all players. This at first hgappened on my console in multiplayer but today I've learned it happens it online as well. I know its possible to get the players to the cars without anyone dying as I've seen it in Splapp-Me-Do's level Sackro Machines Championship. I need to know how to fix this problem or elses of work is going to have been all for nothing; what is the logic I need to make sure no players die like this? If any of you have made a top down racer with teleportation to the cars ... what logic did you use? If this problem cannot be solved the level might be cancelled. WESFUN- How would I wire that up? basicly you would just put 4 controlenators in place for people to sit in then when all people are sitting down in there seats it will switch their camras over to the sackbots that they control. I_Love_Logic- There isn't any way to die during the race; once three laps are completed the car is destroyed and activated a checkpoint by the exit. I would probably use a player counter system that could detect how many players are in the level. Then based on that, have an AND gate that requires a number of sponges equal to the number of players be grabbed at the same time to activate the teleporters. Personally, I would not make a car picking feature if it is based on the color alone; I would instead make the car adopt de player's color by using a holographic silhouette on each car set to Player Color, fed a signal that carries player data. If it is about customizing the appearance of your car beyond color, then yeah, I understand. Edit: see the bumper car level in my sig; the cars adopt player color there. Though the colors are not as crisp and sharp as they could be: I only experimented with holo at that time; neon may yield more satisfying results. The only problem would be if everyone has the same color, but otherwise this is probably the easiest way. Well, that's each player's choice. There isa limited number of colors to choose from so it happens fairly frequently and one can imagine it being a problem with clarity in plenty of other levels. The thing is, if the colors are unclear to players they can easily pick another from their popit.
