Sackbot default size

Should be the same as Sackthing. I honestly cannot imagine why it's not, and why Mm would force us to resize them every time we create one.2011-05-18 19:24:00

Every time I create a sackbot it's approximately 1.5 small grid squares taller than Sackthing.2011-05-18 20:07:00

I think the sackbot costume makes it look like bigger, but I recall changing to normal sackboy skin and it was the same size.2011-05-18 20:39:00

You should be checking the hitbox size really, the square that appears when selecting the bot. I would do it but I'm not at my PS3 2011-05-18 21:49:00

Hmm, well that's interesting. I thought the same thing, but after reading some of the responces, turns out I was wrong.
The Sackbot skin does appear to be slightly taller, but only a little.

Here, I took a screenshot in an empty level -

The left hand side Sackboy and Sackbot are players, the right hand sides are bots. The size difference you see in the photo, is caused only by Sackboys natural bouncey animation he has when idle, as the bots and players weren't synced.
I assure you, when you actually see them bounce yourself, they are indeed, the same height.

Well, I learned something today. I can stop resizing my Sackbots now.

if i remember correctly, the reason for "any" size differance is due to animation types
Regular sacks use "sackboy"
regular bots use "robot"
To make a safe comparison put the bots to "sackboy" as it is a different animation and stance style!

Hmm, nope. I tested today, had the sackbot wear the same costume I always do, and set its animation to sacboy.

Definitely taller.

Exactly the same size for me, or at least to within the nearest pixel. I don't s'pose you accidentally resized your Sackperson with that glitch?

If so with this, does it affect player 2? Perhaps you could test out Sackboy sizes with a second player, or if you can do it can you set yourself to player 2 without a first player by simply changing the controller port? If it does it for both then that might help somehow in determining whether it's the Sackboy or the Sackbot with the problem.
