The title says it all. I suggest that Split-Screen should be enabled during Versus Levels and Creation mode. A good way to utilize a system like this is with a Dynamic Screen splitter. The way this works is that depending on the location of the player compared with the others, the screen splits into a certain direction. For example, two players are playing. One player moves to the left. The screen will split into 2 as long as the player remains left. The screen will adjust accordingly to the height and distance of the player. For example, a player above the height of the other will shift the screen to adjust diagonally to the other player. However, upon close proximity, both cameras will merge and players will resume sharing the same screen. With 3 and 4 players however, a different system will be used. Rather than dynamically splitting the screen, a basic 4 block screen system is used. Players will gain a 25% of the game screen. Only side and height alignment will occur. Diagonal alignment cannot be used. Players will shuffle screens depending on their distance and height relationship. Alternatively, the 3 and 4 players option can be used for 2 players in the options menu.

problem with split screen is fact that level screen need to be rendered twice, it's the same preference issue that implementation of 3D in to the game

Most splitscreen games have a slight lag, more so in 4 player, so I imagine the PS3 would find it too difficult.

Good idea for some levels the creator should be able to toggle it On/Off.

Well, I agree with Shadowriver and RadishLord, but I also agree with craigmond. Their are levels that would be a lot better with split screen!
