How to Import/Record outside music with Mic

| I'd like to use a beat I made on FruityLoops music software on my LBP2 level, I know I can use a magic mouth to record outside volume with a mic but is there any other easier way to record it with my mic and use it in my level? | The quality is going to be horrible if you do it through your mic. How is your mic connected to your ps3? You'd basically need to line out from your PC to your PS3. This may be slightly tough.
