Stretched Objects, 3D Objects, Thin Objects Turned Into Thick

Archive: 12 posts

Before the PSN downtime, JimmyJ75 (http://lbp.me/u/JimmyJ75/levels) & I (http://lbp.me/u/lve_msg/levels) both Discovered different ways to Stretch Objects(my way more advanced).

Then when he showed me his way, we made a material that could make objects 3D(or put objects in the Background or Foreground)

& When PSN was down JimmyJ75 discovered how to make thin objects thick, & he told me but I discovered an easier way.

If you want to see the objects he and I made check out our levels,

Display Of My 3D Objects (http://lbp.me/v/z4xm81)
New LBP2 Glitch 3D Material.New added twisted checkpoints (http://lbp.me/v/z1pnh1)

A tutorial will be coming in a week or two if you guys want one, these objects are weird and I don't really know if people would have a use for them or not(hence why I'm posting this).
The only good thing I think would be useful are the 3D faces in my display level, and the thick thin objects(not published) 8^)

I think you just answered your own question, with this,

...except they look pretty cool

Does there really need to be any other use? I can imagine this being used to great effect in top down games.
This picture picture looks pretty darn cool to me. I'm sure someone could get some pretty cool environments going with that sort of thing.

I've known about this glitch (see what happens when you hit R2 or R1 on the tool) before psn went down. When you say he "found" out, don't you mean stolen it from someone else?2011-05-18 07:24:00
