How do I do it? I have made jumping disabled in the sackbot's options, but when i press X he still jumps. How do I disable the jump while in DCS!? | 2011-05-16 18:36:00 Author: The Don Posts: 50 |
Can't you just put a anti-gravity tweaker and set it to 0 in the sackbot's curcuit board? | 2011-05-16 19:34:00 Author: Unknown User |
Its not going to be simple but it can be done. In fact, you can get rid of any sackbot action- Make it so it cant grab, jump, or look around, or disable any other controls. On your sackbot's microchip, you need two controlinators. Put one on the left, and one on the right. Open both. THe one on the left should be set to recieve the signal, but NOT override the sackbot. THe one on the right should override the sackbot, but NOT accept a remote signal. Now on the left one, take the outputs form every button but jump and put them on the INPUTS of the corresponding button on the right. What will happen is, when you hit the button to jump, the controlinator on the left will accept the input, but not transmit it to the other controlinator, which is what really makes the sackbot jump. To simplify: The one on the left will be what recieves whatever button presses you make, but it doesnt control the sackbot. You can wire the outputs on the left one to the one on the right- This one doesnt accept a remote signal but it DOES control the sackbot, so you can hook the outputs of the left buttons to the inputs on the buttons of the right one to make it so that when you press certain buttons on the left, the right one has those buttons turn on as well, except for the ones you dont want being pressed, which you can simply not wire up. Experiment a bit with it, it should work. Any other questions, just ask them here and I will answer them. | 2011-05-16 19:37:00 Author: the Ion Pulsar Posts: 172 |
Assuming that you are using a sender/receiver controlinator, place down two controlinators on the sackbot's Microchip. Now, set the first controlinator to recieve the signal like normal, and then wire ALL the controller outputs from the receiver to the second controlinator EXCEPT the X (jump) button. I am doing this from memory, but it should work. If not check out CompherMC's sackbot tutorial because it explains it in depth. Ah, Ion Pulsar sniped me, and explained it a lot better than me... | 2011-05-16 19:41:00 Author: UberOrbPS Posts: 290 |
