Hi folks, Google and the search feature of LBPCentral are abandoning me on this topic, so bare with me; I am in the process of stretching the Music Sequencer and writing my own music. So far, so good, were it not that looping custom music results in a noticeable pause. Am I overlooking something obvious here? Is this a bug that M didn't bother to fix yet? Note that the palette of my sequencer is exactly the width of the music track in contains. No artificial gaps. Here are some observations: Even in near empty levels, where nothing is going on, the lag starts to occur after the second loopback In levels with heavy activity, the lag already happens at the first loopback; this can lead to seconds (!) of pause I am not using any odd and exotic tempo settings The Music Sequencer thermometer remains in all cases below 50% Create Mode is generally not to be trusted with these things; my observations are from Play Mode I have trouble accepting that this is the status quo of custom music in LBP2. The frequent occurrence of the gap basically ruins the effort that goes into composing; if I am not in the wrong here and this is classified as a bug, then I cannot understand how the Music Sequencer ever passed MM's quality control. Anyone any insights?

I'm pretty sure it"s just a bug. It happens with all custom music - sometimes by about 1 beat, all the way up to a few seconds. MM really needs to fix it...

MM really needs to fix it... My wicked plan is to make a level with custom music so awesome that it will convince MM to fix this bug immediately. I tell myself this every night before I cry myself to sleep.

I posted a very similar thread. Ive created some pretty cool songs but i have that looping delay. Havent found a solution yet

My best offer is to copy and paste your song a couple times into your track, so it will only have a delay after the third or fourth "loop."
